BLACK+DECKER® Warranty Policy
Congratulations on choosing to purchase Black & Decker Power Tools & Appliances, which are designed and manufactured with high quality and class leading manufacturing technics, which will work seamlessly on DIY (Do It Yourself) applications (not recommended for continuous or intermediate applications).
We are pleased to offer one-year warranty on Black & Decker power tools against all manufacturing and material defects from the date of purchase.
In the event of failure within warranty period due to manufacturing or material defect, we will undertake free of charge (FOC) repair including labour charges, provided we are satisfied that,
- The power tool & Appliances has not been tampered with or any unauthorized repair carried out.
- The power tool & Appliances has been used on the designed / intended application.
- The power tool & Appliances has been used on the standard 220V - 50Hz power supply.
- The power tool & Appliances has not been physically damaged.
The warranty doesn't cover
- Overload, willful damage, claim arising from the loss, fire or other calamities occurred by nature.
- All wear & tear parts like carbon brush, Commutator, grease, O-rings, mechanical parts, plastic parts, or any part which is consumable in nature are not covered under warranty.
- Heating element, external accessory does not cover under warranty
Note:
- Electrical parts (armature, stator, switch & governor / PCB, Battery & Charger) are replaced on FOC only once during the warranty period.
- Free service charge applicable only once during the warranty period.
- The tool must be brought to authorized service center by customer and to be collected back by customer.
- Some of the SBD authorized service centers may offer tool pickup & drop services on chargeable basis which has to be paid by customer.
- Refer the authorized service center list provided in the toolbox or contact our customer care to know your nearest authorized service center.
